The Chief Medical Officer has recently announced that masks are now optional within the school building. This applies to Learning Together. At this time, masks will remain optional for adults, however, if the program is fully registered with 8 -10 families, I will highly recommend mask wearing.

1. When you are finished with the toys, please place them in the yellow "dirty toy" bins in the classroom.
2.  We will not be using the gym at this time, in order to follow safety protocols and reduce mixing with school traffic as much as possible - for the time being.
Thank you for understanding!

Welcome to Learning Together!
Learning Together is a free, early years education program at Elijah Smith Elementary School.  Children will have the opportunity to learn and discover through play in a school environment. Caregivers participate alongside their children, and use play to learn about their child/ren, support learning, support language and communication skills, learn about regulation skills, and foster healthy relationships. Parent-participation is expected for the entire duration of the program.

Learning Together is a free drop-in program open to everyone, however due to COVID-19 we have had to implement social distancing protocols. We have also had to limit the amount of spaces available each day, and are asking parents to register with only their children. Please register with 1 adult per family please. We will require families to pre-register for daily activities, you may register two weeks in advance and up to 8:30 a.m. the morning of. Please visit our registration page (LINK) or call the school at 667-5992  to ensure a space.

6. We are asking for 1 adult per family at this time, as we have limited space available.
